Ultem® 1000 is an amorphous polyetherimide and is one of the most commonly used high performance materials. It offers excellent thermal performance and high mechanical strength and stiffness. It is inherently flame retardant, possesses good resistance to acids and is capable of operating continuously in steam and hot water. Ultem®1000 is offered in Natural (amber transparent) and Black. Natural Ultem®1000 is FDA, USDA and our medical grade is USP Class 6 Compliant. Ultem®1000 is UL 94 V0 Rated. |

Ultem® 2300 is 30% Glass Filled polyetherimide. It offers excellent thermal performance and higher mechanical strength and stiffness than Ultem®1000. It is inherently flame retardant, possesses good resistance to acids and is capable of operating continuously in steam and hot water. Ultem®2300 is offered in Natural (tan) and Black. Ultem®2300 is the industry standard for glass filled Ultem®. 10% and 20% Glass filled is available on a very custom basis. Ultem®2300 is UL 94 V0 Rated. |

Polysulfone PSU is a semi- transparent amorphous thermoplastic with a transparent light amber tint. It is a logical progression from standard transparent plastics such as polycarbonate when improved chemical
or higher temperature resistance is required by the application. Polysulfone PSU can be used continuously in hot water and steam sterilization and has excellent chemical resistance to acidic salt solutions. Polysulfone PSU FDA, USDA, NSF & 3A Dairy compliant and can withstand 50 autoclave cycles before it starts crazing. |

Radel® PPSU (polyphenolsulfone) is an amorphous product that offers improved chemical resistance and thermal stability over most amorphous thermoplastics. Radel® PPSU has the added advantage of superior impact resistance over polycarbonate. It is preferred over all other amorphous thermoplastics, including PEI (Ultem®), where added thermal performance impact resistance and a higher number of steam sterilization cycles is desired. Radel® is available in natural (bone), black, grey, blue and green. Custom colors are also available. |
