Blue Cast Nylon 6 |
· Cont. Service Temperature 260 F · Intermittent service up to 330 F · Excellent Vibration Resistance · Rods & Disks from 1 to 60 inch Dia. · Plates up to 48x120 · Tubular bar up to 60 inch Dia. · Heat Stabilized / Blue in color |
Blue Cast Nylon has a heat stabilizer that retards the loss of physical properties as temperature increase. This allows the material to function at approximately 10% higher temperatures than standard grades; meaning Blue Cast Nylon operating at 200° F will have approximately the same physical properties as a standard grade operating at 185° F. Maximum intermittent temperature for Blue Cast Nylon is 330° F and continuous operating temperature is 250° F (compared to 230° F for standard grades). |

Moly Filled Nylon 6 |
· Cont. Service Temperature 230 F · Dry lubricant filled · Improved Compressive Strength · Enhanced load bearing properties · Rods & Disks from 1 to 60 inch Dia. · Plates up to 48x120 · Tubular bar up to 60 inch Dia. |
Moly Filled Nylon contains finely divided particles of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) to enhance its load bearing capabilities while maintaining the impact resistance inherent to nylon. It’s the most commonly used grade for gears, sheaves, sprockets and custom parts. Moly Filled Nylon is a popular choice as a dry lubricant-filled bearing material. Manufactured to be a more crystalline product with improved wear resistance and also offers improved compressive strength and its charcoal grey / black in color. |

Oil Filled Nylon 6 |
· Cont. Service Temperature 230 F
· Oil impregnated for self lubrication
· Excellent in marine applications
· FDA Compliant
· Rods & Disks from 1 to 60 inch Dia.
· Plates up to 48x120
· Tubular bar up to 60 inch Dia. |
A cast nylon with built-in oil lubrication, Oil Filled Nylon or NYLOIL provides superior machinability, performance, and durability compared to other plastic and traditional bearing materials. Three grades of NYLOIL are available to fit the most demanding applications: original Green Nyloil for most bearing applications; food-grade, Natural Nyloil-FG for direct contact with food; and MoS2 filled Gray Nyloil-MDX with slightly higher compressive load capabilities than original NYLOIL. |

Cast Nylon 12 |
· Cont. Service Temperature 230 F
· Very low moisture absorption
· Low thermal expansion
· Rods & Disks from 1 to 30 inch Dia.
· Plates up to 100 lbs
· Tubular bar up to 60 inch Dia.
· Carmel colored and black colored |
With its extremely low moisture absorption, the mechanical properties of Nylon 12 remain virtually unaffected in a wide range of environments. Nylon 12 offers superior performance design in applications, where dimensional stability, chemical resistance, dielectrics, abrasion resistance and impact strength are important factors. In wet or dry environments, indoor or outdoor, the low deformation and superior fatigue resistance properties of Nylon 12 deliver unmatched performance in many high-speed wheel and roller |
